
ILLINOIS — A 24-year-old man is in critical condition after being found with a stab wound to the neck at a CTA Blue Line station in Chicago’s Jefferson Park neighborhood.
According to Chicago police, the man was discovered on the ground at the CTA bus terminal in the 4900 block of North Milwaukee Avenue at approximately 10:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Authorities said the victim suffered a stab wound to the neck and was transported to Lutheran General Hospital, where he remains in critical condition.
Investigators believe the stabbing occurred at an unknown location before the victim made his way to the CTA station, where he was later found.
Area Five detectives are leading the investigation.
No arrests have been announced, and additional details have not been released. The investigation remains ongoing.
