
FLORIDA — A truck crashed into a Sarasota home early Tuesday morning, leaving a resident injured, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
Troopers said the crash happened around 12:30 a.m. on Tournament Boulevard near the intersection of Country Club Way.
According to investigators, a man driving a Ford F-150 approached a stop sign but continued through the intersection. The truck then traveled off the roadway and crashed into a home on Country Club Way.
The driver was not injured in the crash, FHP said.
A 62-year-old man who was inside the home when the truck struck the residence suffered non-incapacitating injuries.
Authorities have not released the identities of those involved.
The Florida Highway Patrol is continuing to investigate the crash. No additional details were immediately available.
