
ALABAMA — A fatal two-vehicle crash shut down Alabama 67 in Morgan County late Monday morning, according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.
The crash happened at approximately 10:26 a.m. near mile marker 15 on Alabama 67.
Authorities said the collision involved two vehicles and blocked the roadway. All lanes of the highway were closed as emergency crews responded to the scene and investigated the crash.
The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency said troopers with its Highway Patrol Division were monitoring the situation and working the crash investigation.
Officials confirmed the crash was fatal but had not released the number of people killed or the identities of those involved as of Monday afternoon.
Motorists were advised to avoid the area and seek alternate routes while the roadway remained closed.

The crash remains under investigation by the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.
