OHIO — A man is in critical condition after being shot Sunday night near a liquor store in Toledo, according to police.
The shooting occurred around 10:30 p.m. near the Beer Dock on North Huron Street.
Toledo police said the victim was shot at least once in the stomach. After being wounded, the man staggered into the business, where someone called 911.
Emergency crews responded to the scene and transported the victim to a hospital for treatment. Authorities said he remains in critical condition.
Police have not released information about a suspect or what may have led to the shooting.
The incident remains under investigation.
