ALABAMA — A 19-year-old Hartselle man was killed in a single-vehicle crash early Saturday morning in Morgan County, according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.
Authorities identified the victim as Wenceslao Gonzalez Arroyo, 19.
The crash occurred at approximately 1 a.m. Saturday on Hopewell Road near Alabama 36, about three miles southwest of Hartselle.
According to ALEA, Arroyo was driving a pickup truck when the vehicle left the roadway, overturned and struck a tree.
Officials said Arroyo was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Troopers with ALEA’s Highway Patrol Division are continuing to investigate the fatal crash.
