
NORTH CAROLINA — A 25-year-old Lenoir County woman is facing multiple felony charges after authorities say she intentionally struck two men with a vehicle before crashing into a car belonging to the victims.
According to the Lenoir County Sheriff’s Office, the incident occurred Friday, June 5, on Shep Road.
Investigators allege that Shaniya Davis intentionally hit two men with a vehicle and then crashed into a vehicle owned by the victims that was parked in a yard.
Both victims were injured in the incident and were transported to UNC Health Lenoir for treatment. Authorities said the injuries were not considered life-threatening.
Davis was arrested and taken to the Lenoir County Detention Center, where she was being held without bond.
She has been charged with two counts of attempted first-degree murder and one count of injury to personal property.
