SOUTH CAROLINA — One person was killed in a two-vehicle crash early Saturday morning in Pickens County, according to the county coroner.
The crash occurred on Highway 178 near Odell Road and was reported shortly before 5 a.m. Saturday. Officials said the collision happened around 4 a.m.
According to the Pickens County Coroner’s Office, two vehicles were involved in the crash. One person died as a result of the collision.
Authorities have not yet released the identity of the victim.
No additional information about the circumstances surrounding the crash was immediately available.
Officials said more details are expected to be released later Saturday. The investigation remains ongoing.
