NORTH CAROLINA — Two people were injured and a suspect was arrested following a shooting in downtown Raleigh early Saturday morning, according to police.
The shooting occurred around 1:45 a.m. on Glenwood Avenue near Jones Street.
Raleigh police said a man and a woman were shot during the incident. Authorities reported that both victims suffered injuries that appeared to be non-life-threatening and are expected to recover.
Police arrested a suspect in connection with the shooting. Officials said there is no ongoing threat to the public.
