PENNSYLVANIA — A Powerball ticket sold in Pennsylvania matched four white balls and the Powerball to win a $50,000 prize in Saturday night’s drawing.
The winning numbers for the May 30 Powerball drawing were 1, 27, 35, 44 and 52, with the Powerball number 12. The Power Play multiplier was 2x.
Lottery officials have not yet announced where in Pennsylvania the winning ticket was sold.
The estimated jackpot for Saturday’s drawing was $170 million, with an estimated cash value of $75.9 million at the time of the drawing. No ticket matched all six numbers needed to win the jackpot.
Powerball drawings are held every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday, with players able to win prizes at several levels depending on how many numbers they match. A ticket matching four white balls and the Powerball wins a $50,000 prize before any applicable taxes.
Pennsylvania Lottery officials encourage players to check their tickets carefully and sign the back of any winning ticket before claiming a prize.
