ALABAMA — Two men were injured in a shooting Saturday afternoon in Montgomery, according to the Montgomery Police Department.
Police said officers responded to the 1800 block of East South Boulevard at approximately 3:45 p.m. after receiving a report of a shooting. When officers arrived, they found an unidentified man suffering from a gunshot wound. Authorities said the victim’s injuries were not considered life-threatening, and he was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
About five minutes later, at approximately 3:50 p.m., officers were dispatched to a local hospital following another report of a shooting victim. Police located a second unidentified man who had also sustained a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.
According to investigators, preliminary evidence indicates the second victim was also injured during the same incident in the 1800 block of East South Boulevard.
The circumstances surrounding the shooting have not been released, and no arrests have been announced.
