GEORGIA — Police in Douglasville are asking for the public’s help in locating an 11-year-old girl who has been missing since Friday afternoon.
According to the Douglasville Police Department, Chanias Scott was last seen around 3:30 p.m. Friday after leaving her home near Jessie Davis Park.
Authorities believe Scott may have run away from the residence.
Scott is described as 4 feet 9 inches tall with brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a pink bonnet, blue shorts with ducks on them and mismatched socks. Police said she may also be carrying a cream-colored backpack.
The Douglasville Police Department is actively investigating the case and is asking anyone with information about Scott’s whereabouts to come forward.
