SOUTH CAROLINA — Orangeburg County Sheriff’s deputies are investigating a shooting that left one person injured Saturday morning at a motel in Orangeburg County.
According to Sheriff Leroy Ravenell, deputies responded to the Crown Inn on Bamberg Road just before 10 a.m. after receiving reports of a shooting.
Authorities said a 43-year-old person was struck by gunfire during the incident. Information regarding the victim’s condition was not immediately available.
Investigators have not released information about a suspect or what may have led to the shooting.
The Orangeburg County Sheriff’s Office said the investigation remains ongoing, and additional details are expected to be released as they become available.
