OHIO — A Kenton man was killed Friday evening in a single-vehicle crash in Allen Township, according to the Hancock County Sheriff’s Office.
Authorities said the crash occurred around 5:50 p.m. on State Route 613 near Township Road 231.
Investigators said 36-year-old Michael Davis was traveling westbound on SR 613 when his vehicle crossed into the eastbound lane and then veered off the right side of the roadway. The vehicle subsequently overturned before coming to rest.
Davis was pronounced dead at the scene as a result of injuries sustained in the crash, according to the sheriff’s office.
No other vehicles were reported to be involved.
The Hancock County Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate the cause of the crash. Additional details have not been released.
The investigation remains ongoing.
