
NORTH CAROLINA — The Greenville Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating a missing man who left his assisted living home and may be trying to travel to Raleigh.
According to police, 33-year-old Garrett Burr left his assisted living residence on Sterling Pointe Drive in Winterville around 8 p.m. Friday.
Investigators believe Burr may be attempting to make his way to Raleigh.
Burr is described as 6 feet tall, weighing approximately 186 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing blue plaid pajamas and tan shoes.
Police said Burr has been diagnosed with schizophrenia, raising concerns for his well-being.

The search for Burr remains ongoing.
