MICHIGAN — Five people were arrested Thursday during an anti-drug operation in Kentwood, according to the Kentwood Police Department.
Police said officers from the Kentwood Police Department, the Walker Special Response Team and the Kent County Sheriff’s Office executed the operation at a home on Division Avenue between 52nd and 60th streets as part of a narcotics investigation.
Authorities said four of the five people arrested had outstanding warrants. The fifth suspect faces a charge of possession of methamphetamine with intent to deliver.
During a search of the home, officers recovered two handguns, police said. Additional charges related to the weapons and the search could be filed against some of the suspects.
Police also said four additional people connected to the investigation were detained during the operation.
No injuries were reported.
The investigation remains ongoing.
