PENNSYLVANIA — Several Pennsylvania public school districts are wrapping up the 2025-26 school year this week, with verified district calendars showing final student days on either Thursday, May 28, or Friday, May 29.
Jefferson-Morgan School District in Greene County lists May 28, 2026 as the “Last Day of School & Graduation for the Class of 2026” on its published district calendar.
Harmony Area School District’s approved 2025-26 calendar lists the final two student days as May 27 and May 28, with early dismissals scheduled.
Reynolds School District in Mercer County lists May 29, 2026 as the “Last day of school/Early Dismissal” on its official district calendar.
North Hills School District near Pittsburgh also lists Friday, May 29, 2026 as the final day of the school year in its approved academic calendar.
The calendars mean students in those districts are heading into summer break by the end of the week. Several districts also have graduations, teacher in-service days, clerical days and commencement activities scheduled immediately after students finish classes.
