KENTUCKY — A police chase that began in northern Kentucky ended with a crash in a Cincinnati construction zone early Wednesday morning.
Authorities said the incident began around 3:45 a.m. in Fort Thomas, Kentucky.
The pursuit ended on the Interstate 471 ramp to Interstate 71 northbound near Liberty Street in Cincinnati, where a white sedan crashed in a construction area. Images from the scene showed the vehicle with major front-end damage.
Officials confirmed a suspect was taken into custody following the crash.
No additional details about the suspect or what led to the chase were immediately released.
It was not immediately clear whether anyone was injured.
The incident remains under investigation.
