
SOUTH CAROLINA — Police in Greenville are searching for a missing woman with Alzheimer’s disease and dementia, according to the Greenville Police Department.
Authorities said 64-year-old Herlene Jones was reported missing by family members after she was last seen around 7 p.m. Tuesday near 1148 Pendleton Street.
Police said Jones has a history of becoming lost and confused because of her medical conditions.
She was last seen wearing a blue sweater with a pink shirt underneath, a black fuzzy bucket hat and red, yellow and blue Vans-style tennis shoes.
Anyone who sees Jones or has information about her whereabouts is asked to contact the Greenville Police Department at 864-271-5333.
The search remains ongoing.
