OKLAHOMA — A bicyclist was killed in a hit-and-run crash early Wednesday morning in northeast Oklahoma City, according to police.
The Oklahoma City Police Department said officers were called just after midnight to the area near Northeast 36th Street and North Lincoln Boulevard for a reported collision involving a bicycle and a vehicle.
Investigators said a silver sedan struck a bicyclist traveling in the area before fleeing the scene.
The bicyclist was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. Authorities have not released the victim’s identity.
Officers are speaking with nearby businesses and reviewing possible surveillance video as they work to identify the driver involved.
The investigation remains ongoing.
