
KENTUCKY — Multiple people have been charged following a months-long drug trafficking investigation in Franklin, according to the South Central Kentucky Drug Task Force.
Authorities said agents conducted a seven-month investigation into alleged organized crime and prescription drug trafficking in Simpson County.
As a result of the investigation, several individuals were arrested and charged.
Michael Cantrell, 39, of Bowling Green, was charged with engaging in organized crime, making a false statement for a prescription, four counts of second-degree trafficking in a controlled substance and four counts of drug paraphernalia manufacture or delivery.
Elvis Harris, 52, of Franklin, was charged with engaging in organized crime, four counts of first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance and four counts of drug paraphernalia manufacture or delivery.
Aubrey Cantrell, 41, of Franklin, faces charges of engaging in organized crime, three counts of second-degree trafficking in a controlled substance and three counts of drug paraphernalia manufacture or delivery.
Lisa Harris, 51, of Franklin, was charged with engaging in organized crime, first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia manufacture or delivery.
Zachary Cantrell of Bowling Green was charged on outstanding warrants in addition to engaging in organized crime, second-degree trafficking in a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia manufacture or delivery.
