KENTUCKY — The Warren County Sheriff’s Office announced it will conduct a traffic safety checkpoint on June 12 in Bowling Green.
According to the sheriff’s office, the checkpoint will take place from 8 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. at various locations throughout Warren County.
Possible checkpoint locations include:
- 3000 Cemetery Road
- 6000 Glasgow Road
- 8000 block of Smiths Grove Scottsville Road
- 2100 block of Plum Springs Road
The checkpoints are endorsed by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Officials say studies show checkpoints can reduce crashes by 10 to 15 percent.
