NORTH CAROLINA — A juvenile died after a reported shooting Monday afternoon in Reidsville, according to the Guilford County Sheriff’s Office.
Sheriff Danny H. Rogers said deputies responded around 4:40 p.m. Monday to a residence on U.S. Highway 29 for a reported gunshot wound.
When deputies arrived, they found a juvenile suffering from an apparent gunshot wound, authorities said.
The juvenile was taken to a local hospital and later died from their injuries. Officials said next of kin have been notified.
The Guilford County Sheriff’s Office said the investigation remains ongoing, and no additional information has been released.
