MICHIGAN — A 60-year-old Rockford man died Monday evening after a motorcycle crash in Algoma Township, according to the Kent County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies responded around 6:30 p.m. to Algoma Avenue south of 12 Mile Road for reports of a crash. Investigators said the motorcycle left the roadway for unknown reasons, struck a ditch and ejected the rider.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities said no other vehicles were involved in the crash.
The Kent County Sheriff’s Office is continuing to investigate the cause of the crash. No additional information has been released.
