ALABAMA — An Ohatchee man was killed early Sunday morning after crashing into a light pole in Anniston, according to police.
Anniston Police Chief Clint Parris said officers responded to the crash at the intersection of McClellan Boulevard and Hub Street around 1:15 a.m.
Investigators said the driver was speeding northbound when the vehicle struck a light pole.
The driver, identified as Tevin Higgins of Ohatchee, was pronounced dead at the scene a little more than an hour after the crash.
The investigation remains ongoing.
