
ARKANSAS — A Cherokee Village woman was killed Friday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash in Hardy, according to Arkansas State Police.
The crash happened around 2:23 p.m. at the intersection of U.S. 62 and State Highway 175.
State police said Emma S. Baumann was driving a 2000 Ford Ranger northbound on Highway 175 when she pulled into the path of a westbound 2024 Ford F-250 traveling on U.S. 62.
Investigators said the Ford F-250 struck Baumann’s truck. Baumann was pronounced dead as a result of the crash.
According to the preliminary crash report, weather conditions were clear and the roadway was wet at the time of the collision.
Authorities said Baumann’s next of kin have been notified.
The crash remains under investigation by Arkansas State Police.
