KENTUCKY — Two women were killed Sunday morning in a crash in Shively, according to police.
Officers responded around 6:20 a.m. to the 3400 block of 7th Street Road after receiving reports of an injury collision.
When officers arrived, they found two women in their early 20s suffering from injuries related to the crash. Both victims were pronounced dead at the scene.
Police have not released the identities of the women.
Authorities said the cause of the crash remains under investigation. The 3400 block of 7th Street Road was closed in both directions for an extended period as investigators worked the scene.
