NORTH CAROLINA — Police in Matthews are asking for the public’s help locating a missing 16-year-old boy.
According to the Matthews Police Department, Kyle Broadie Preston was last seen Saturday around 4:50 p.m. near the 2300 block of Fern Ridge Lane.
Police said Preston was on foot when he disappeared. He is described as about 5-foot-5 with brown eyes and black hair.
Authorities said he was last seen wearing a black sweatshirt, blue pants and black shoes while carrying a black backpack.
