
ILLINOIS — One person was killed and at least three others were injured in a crash on Interstate 94 on Chicago’s South Side early Sunday morning, according to Illinois State Police.
The two-car crash happened shortly before 1 a.m. in the southbound lanes of I-94 near 91st Street, police said.
Authorities said one person was pronounced dead at the scene. At least three other occupants were taken to area hospitals with injuries.
All southbound lanes were shut down shortly after the crash and reopened just after 5 a.m.
Illinois State Police have not released additional details as the investigation continues.
