WEST VIRGINIA — A winning Powerball ticket worth $2 million was sold in West Virginia for Saturday night’s drawing, according to lottery officials.
The winning numbers for the May 23, 2026 Powerball drawing were 4, 16, 41, 48, 66, with the Powerball number 26. The Power Play multiplier was 2x. The estimated jackpot for the drawing was $132 million, with a cash value of $58.1 million.
Officials said the West Virginia ticket matched all five white ball numbers but did not match the Powerball, making it a $1 million winner. Because the ticket included the Power Play option, the prize doubled to $2 million.
No jackpot winner was announced for the drawing.
Lottery officials have not yet released where in West Virginia the winning ticket was sold.
