FLORIDA — A motorcyclist was killed Saturday afternoon in a crash in Marion County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
Troopers said the motorcycle was traveling westbound on Mariacamp Road near Locust Place when the vehicle overturned onto its left side.
The rider was taken to a hospital, where they were pronounced dead, FHP said. Authorities have not released the identity of the victim.
The crash remains under investigation.
