SOUTH CAROLINA — Deputies with the Lexington County Sheriff’s Department are investigating a shooting that left one person injured early Saturday morning.
According to deputies, officers responded to the 7-Eleven in the 5100 block of Platt Springs Road for a reported shooting.
When deputies arrived, they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound to the upper body. He was transported to a hospital for treatment.
Authorities said no suspects or persons of interest have been identified at this time.
The investigation remains ongoing.
