OHIO — Crews responded Saturday morning to a train derailment in Miamisburg that blocked a roadway in both directions, according to local authorities.

The derailment was reported around 10:19 a.m. near Riverview Avenue between State Route 725 and West Linden Avenue, according to Montgomery County Regional Dispatch.

Police said several train cars appeared to have become uncoupled near the interchange area, causing the blockage.

The Miamisburg Police Department said no injuries were reported.

CSX personnel were called to the scene and are investigating what caused the derailment.

Officials have not said when the roadway will reopen. Authorities urged drivers to avoid the area while crews work at the scene.
