KENTUCKY — Kentucky State Police are investigating a fatal crash in Barren County that left two people dead Friday morning.
The crash happened on Interstate 65 north near the 53.2 mile marker close to Cave City.
Troopers responded to the scene at approximately 8 a.m. and determined the collision involved a semi-trailer and a passenger car, according to Parker.
Authorities said two people died in the crash. Their identities have not been released.
All three northbound lanes of I-65 were closed following the crash as investigators worked at the scene.
The investigation remains ongoing.
