
OHIO — One person was killed early Wednesday morning in a crash involving a semitruck on Interstate 270 in Dublin, according to the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office.
The crash happened around 1:48 a.m. on I-270 South just south of Tuttle Crossing Boulevard.
Investigators said a semitruck was traveling southbound and slowing for stopped traffic when a Toyota Camry traveling behind it struck the rear of the semi.
The driver of the Toyota was taken to Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in critical condition and was pronounced dead at 3:43 a.m., authorities said.
The driver of the semitruck was not injured.
I-270 South was closed for several hours following the crash but reopened around 6:45 a.m.
The crash remains under investigation.
