Louisiana resident dead following vehicle crash in Indiana

INDIANA — A Louisiana man was killed in a three-vehicle crash Monday afternoon in Boone County, according to police.

The crash happened shortly after 2 p.m. on State Road 32 at County Road 400 West, west of Lebanon.

Police said the crash involved a passenger car, a semi tractor-trailer and a dump truck.

The driver of the dump truck, identified as 22-year-old Jaheim Miller of Louisiana, was taken to an Indianapolis hospital, where he later died from his injuries.

Authorities said the occupants of the passenger car and the semi were taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

No additional details about the cause of the crash were immediately released.

The crash remains under investigation by the Lebanon Police Department.
