
MINNESOTA — A pedestrian was killed in a hit-and-run crash early Tuesday morning in Brooklyn Park, authorities said.
Police responded around 1:23 a.m. to a report of a pedestrian crash near Highway 252 and 73rd Avenue North. When officers arrived, they found that the driver involved had already fled the scene.
The pedestrian died from injuries suffered in the crash. Officials have not yet released the victim’s identity.
Authorities also have not shared details about the circumstances leading up to the crash or a description of the vehicle involved.
The Minnesota State Patrol is leading the investigation. No arrests had been announced as of Tuesday morning.
