
MICHIGAN — A 41-year-old man was killed in a hit-and-run crash involving an e-bike early Sunday morning in Arenac County, Michigan, according to authorities.
The Arenac County Sheriff’s Office said the crash was reported shortly after midnight on M-76 near Kindig Road south of Alger in Moffatt Township.
Deputies arriving at the scene found Dana Quigley, 41, of Alger, dead after being struck while riding an e-bike.
Authorities said the driver involved left the scene before investigators arrived.
Investigators later identified both the suspected vehicle and driver Sunday morning.
The sheriff’s office said the suspect’s identity has not been released because no arraignment had taken place as of Monday morning.
Officials said reports from the investigation will be forwarded to the Arenac County Prosecutor’s Office for possible criminal charges.
