NORTH CAROLINA — The Clayton Police Department is investigating a homicide after a person was found dead Monday morning at an apartment complex in Clayton.
The death was reported at the Heritage Court Apartments on the 800 block of East Main Street.
Authorities also said one person is currently in custody in connection with the investigation.
Officials said there is no ongoing threat to the public at this time.
