ALABAMA — One person was killed in a shooting Sunday at an apartment complex in Foley, according to police.
The Foley Police Department said officers responded to The Reserve Apartments on County Road 12 following reports of a shooting.
When officers arrived, they confirmed one person had died as a result of the incident.
Police requested assistance from the Baldwin County Major Crimes Unit, which is now leading the investigation.
Authorities said they do not believe there is any ongoing threat to the public.
No additional information, including the identity of the victim or possible suspects, has been released.
