KENTUCKY — At least one person was killed and several others were injured in a crash Friday in Bardstown, according to police.
The Bardstown Police Department said emergency crews responded to the fatal crash on Highway 245 near the Handy Food Mart on May 15.
Authorities confirmed one person died in the crash while multiple others suffered injuries. Officials have not released the identities of those involved or provided details about the extent of the injuries.
Police said one lane of the highway will remain open while officers continue to investigate the scene.
No information has been released regarding what may have caused the crash or when the roadway is expected to fully reopen.
