TEXAS — A 23-year-old Kyle man was killed late Wednesday night after a motorcycle crash on Interstate 35 in Buda, according to police.
The Buda Police Department said officers responded around 11:30 p.m. to the 219-mile marker of southbound I-35 after receiving reports of a crash.
Investigators said William Robert Lujan was riding a motorcycle when an unknown incident caused him to end up on the roadway. Police said he was then struck by at least two vehicles.
Officers found Lujan severely injured at the scene. He was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police.
Authorities said the circumstances that caused the motorcycle to crash remain under investigation.
The Buda Police Department’s Accident Investigations Unit is leading the investigation alongside the department’s Crime Victim Liaison and Justice of the Peace Sandra Bryant.
