OHIO — Police are investigating after a man was found dead Monday night on the northeast side of Columbus.
According to the Columbus Division of Police, officers were called around 9:50 p.m. to the area of Delevan Drive and Brentnell Avenue on a complaint report. Officers were then directed to the 2400 block of Brocton Court, where they found a man.
The victim was identified as 39-year-old Xavier Reynolds. Police said Reynolds was pronounced dead at the scene at 10:07 p.m.
Investigators said Reynolds showed evidence of “having suffered homicidal violence.” Additional details about the circumstances surrounding his death were not immediately released.
