
INDIANA — A narcotics investigation in Anderson led to multiple arrests after police executed search and arrest warrants at five locations across the city Friday.
According to the Anderson Police Department, the warrants were carried out May 8 following what investigators described as an extensive narcotics investigation that lasted several months.
Police said all individuals named in the warrants were taken into custody without incident. Officers also collected evidence connected to the investigation from multiple locations throughout the city.
Photos released by police showed large amounts of cash, suspected drugs and multiple firearms seized during the operation.
Several law enforcement agencies assisted in the investigation, including the Anderson Police Department SWAT Team, Madison County Sheriff’s Department, Muncie Police Department, Fishers Police Department and Indiana State Police.
Authorities have not yet released the names of those arrested or any charges they may face.
