KENTUCKY — One person was injured in a two-vehicle crash on Interstate 75 in Lexington Thursday morning, according to officials.
The crash happened just ahead of the North Broadway off-ramp near mile marker 113 and initially reduced traffic to the right lane, causing significant delays in the area.
The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet issued a traffic alert around 7 a.m. warning drivers of congestion on I-75 North near Exit 110.
Officials with the Lexington Fire Department told FOX 56 News that the crash involved two vehicles. One person was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
All lanes have since reopened.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
