PENNSYLVANIA — An 81-year-old Chambersburg woman has died following a rollover crash in Franklin County, according to Pennsylvania State Police.
The crash happened around 2 p.m. Wednesday in the 200 block of Franklin Farm Lane near the entrance to the Laurel Lakes Rehab Center in Guilford Township.
State police identified the victim as Jayne Lorah, 81, of Chambersburg.
Authorities said Lorah was found unresponsive by first responders after the crash. Emergency crews had to remove the roof of her vehicle to rescue her from the wreckage.
She was taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries but later died from those injuries, police said.
The driver of the other vehicle involved, a 31-year-old woman, was transported to an area hospital and treated for minor injuries.
The crash remains under investigation by Pennsylvania State Police.
