MICHIGAN — A 31-year-old woman from Mt. Morris was killed in a motorcycle crash Monday evening south of Frankenmuth, according to the Saginaw County Sheriff’s Office.
Authorities said the crash occurred around 8:10 p.m. on Gera Road near Lange Road in Birch Run Township.
Investigators said the woman was riding a Yamaha R6 motorcycle southbound when she collided with a GMC Terrain that was also traveling south for an unknown reason.
The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. Her identity has not been released.
The driver of the GMC, a 62-year-old woman from Arkansas, did not report any serious injuries.
The Saginaw County Sheriff’s Office is continuing to investigate the cause of the crash.
