OHIO — A 58-year-old Illinois man died Friday evening following a crash on U.S. Route 35 in Ohio, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
Authorities said Slavisa Jovanovic, of Western Springs, Illinois, was driving a Mercedes westbound on Route 35 when his vehicle veered off the right side of the road and struck a tree.
The crash occurred just after 10:15 p.m.
Jovanovic was transported to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead from his injuries.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating the incident.
