
SOUTH CAROLINA — One person was killed and two others were injured in a crash Sunday afternoon in Lee County, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
The crash happened around 4:50 p.m. on U.S. 401 near Mt. Moriah Road. Authorities said a 2016 Audi A6 and a 2016 Audi A8 were traveling along the roadway when the vehicles collided.
The driver of the Audi A8 was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver and a passenger in the Audi A6 were transported to McLeod Hospital for treatment. The extent of their injuries has not been released.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
