GEORGIA — A child is in critical condition after being struck by a vehicle Friday night in Atlanta, according to police.
The incident occurred near the intersection of James Jackson Parkway NW and Browntown Road NW, authorities said.
Emergency responders transported the child to a hospital, where they remain in critical condition. Officials have not released the child’s identity or age.
Police said the driver involved in the crash remained at the scene. It is not immediately clear whether any charges will be filed.
