INDIANA — Police in Greensburg are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing 14-year-old boy who was last seen earlier this week.
According to the Greensburg Police Department, Jack Doty was last seen around 10 p.m. Sunday, April 26, near a Hampton Inn along North Michigan Avenue and North Hessler Boulevard.
Authorities describe Doty as approximately 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighing about 112 pounds, with blonde hair and blue eyes.
Investigators say it is believed the teen may have left home to meet with another juvenile, but his exact destination is unknown. Police also noted that Doty has generalized anxiety disorder, which could affect how he interacts with others.
Officials said the case does not meet the criteria for an Amber Alert, as there is no evidence of an abduction or a specific suspect involved. However, they emphasized that locating Doty safely remains a top priority.
Anyone who sees Doty or has information about his whereabouts is urged to call 911 immediately.
